D-Day veteran, 96, seriously hurt in 'claw hammer'

A man has been arrested after a 96-year-old D-Day veteran suffered life-threatening injuries in a suspected claw hammer attack in his home.
Jim Booth, who served as a sub-lieutenant during the Second World War, is in a serious condition in hospital following the assault in Taunton, Somerset, on Wednesday afternoon

just hope he he comes in front of a judge that will feel the same way we all feel and throw away the key some how though he will probably get a minimum sentence, just hope that should this scum of the earth go to prison then someone there will give him what he deserves
