Anyone seen or know where Sid Giles is up to these days..........

last heard he was caretaking or something like that in north wales some sort of outward bound centre

Saw Sid in Bangor just before Xmas still large as life. Now living just outside Holyhead

Sid is now back with Julie, living in the old married quarters at RAF Valley. He was/still is involved with a local youth football team and the local council amongest other things (fingers in pies) Sid is restricted work wise due to his Arthritis and serius, but he is keeping well, I always get a beep and a wave when I am on the gate at RAF Valley if Sid is passing.

Mike Carey's post is spot on! Sid is at RAF Valley with Julie. I see Sid quite often; he was a caretaker driver taking a blind old lady to hospital in his own car! His exact words were " its great, cos i can drive all the way to Bangor with nothing on and she doesn't even know it" - He will never change!

At the moment, he is just taking it easy. I saw him only yesterday sitting outside a sandwich shop in Holyhead having a coffee and a read of the Daily Post. He's always asking about the lads and u can still get a laugh out of good old Sid!

The other night Tim went to a football meeting in Llangefni. Who should be there ....SID GILES!!
Tim was telling Sid about the "Old Boys South Africa trip" and he says he would love to go.
Maybe someone could pass some details to Sid??

Glen, I will try my best to get hold of Sid, but I normally see him after I hear a beep and all I see is a big wave out of the car window as he drives past.
