Hi
I know this could be a "tall order" but my future daughter-in-law (3 weeks time) was asking if any info on her late grand father only details she has is above.
Many Thanks

Hi, Just a small pointer which may be of help. His service number was part of a block which was issued from July 1951 until June 1955.
He doesn't appear on the GSM Medal list for the 1950's Benny.
Hi Benny, It would appear that this block of numbers was issued to the Corps of Military Police.
Source : Corps Military Police ( Military Police Regimental Numbers ) www.corpsofmilitarypoliceog.uk

Little bit more Info
it seems a bit odd that his Number is in a military police block, the daughter in law thinks he served in a RE plant Regiment?
Hi Benny, the information was taken from the Corps of Military Police site with regard to their regimental numbers. It may be possible that they were referring to the general numbering system introduced in 1950 overall and not specific to them. If so the paragraph is poorly presented.
However the block range is correct as that came from another source. Sorry if I have inadvertently supplied some duff gen.
No Problem
Thanks for your help, can someone keep looking for any info on him please?
The person can apply for his service record? £35
