Can I access service records?
Hi
My dad served in the RWF from 1948-1970. I'm trying to put together a list of the all the places (with dates) he served but there are some gaps. Regrettably, we didn't think to get this information from him while he was alive. Does anyone know if it's possible to see service records of a family member? Thanks.

See

which describes the procedure for all personnel from 1919 to the present day.

Re: Can I access service records?
Hello,
I knew two Byfield,s Dennis and Phil Phil reached the rank of C S M and I went to his funeral in Barry.Phil was mainly in rifle companies. Dennis was in the pioneers in the first Battalion R W F in which I met both of them in Jamaica when the 1st served in the west Indies from March 1951 to 1954/ The last I heard of Phil was many years ago and he was domiciled out side of Wrexham and suffered with heart trouble.
