Certainly his name appears in the index of Regimental Records covering 1945-69. In 1956-57 he was CSM HQ Coy 2RWF in Malaya. Why?
Hello,
As Al rightly informs us Markbride was a C S M in Malaya and run the football team. In passing I have been off line for quite a while but my son returned from his holiday and repaired it

hi Don,
haven't been able to find my scans, though I do recall they were individual photographs as opposed to pages out of one of the YDG we were working on so I would not have archived them. Perhaps you could scan them and put them up in this post so the OP can take a copy if they don't have them.
nice to hear from you again, your absence was noticeable!
cheers
KMJ
Hello 989,
I will try and dig them out and zoom over to you, it will take some time.
Regards Don
