I had heard about this on radio Wales but did not realise he was ex RWF. He is sadly still missing, but I hope he can still be found OK.
Re: ARTHUR JONES ex 4 RWF - MISSING IN CRETE
Just heard off a friend that they have found a Body in Crete which matches Arthurs Description. They say he was found sitting under a tree or a memorial with his sandwich box down by his side. People have already started to lay flowers around the Cenotaph in Denbigh. RIP Arthur. Braz

Re: ARTHUR JONES ex 4 RWF - MISSING IN CRETE
A body has been found in the search for a Denbigh pensioner missing in Crete.
The son of Arthur Jones, 73, described the news as "deeply upsetting", although the man's body has yet to be formally identified by authorities.
Mr Jones, a keen walker with 40 years' experience, had not been seen since 19 June - two days after he arrived on the Greek island for a holiday.
His family thought he could have gone out walking by himself and may have been taken ill.
