Re: Death of Sue Reynolds
Oh Dear, how very very sad.
Sue was as Royal Welch as the rest of us, a fountain of knowledge - if she didn't have the immediate answer to a query she would research accordingly and come up with a result.
I'll certainly miss our chats and comms.
My personal condolences, plus the members of London Branch RWFCA, to Sue's family and friends on this very sad occasion.

Re: Death of Sue Reynolds
I wish to pay tribute to a great lady who has contributed so much to our beloved Regiment, particularly the Comrades following her move from 3RWF to RHQ.
Sue Reynolds was as much a part of Hightown Barracks as the front gates.
She served the Royal Welch Fusiliers for the greater part of her adult life as a Civil Servant at the barracks and was undoubtedly a part of the wider Royal Welch Fusilier family. She was quiet, intelligent, loyal and dignified but with a feisty underlying character; ever thoughtful of the needs of others she demanded little but gave so much.
We are struggling to identify any of her close family but it us, the Royal Welch, who are her friends.
Last week when I popped into RHQ before jetting off on holidays, Sue fixed me my usual coffee but found climbing the stairs to Des's office a little difficult, I had not released she was so unwell. I was so glad that I gave a hug when saying my goodbyes, I never imagined I wouldn't see her again.
She will be greatly missed and because of the cuts to RHQ she will not be replaced - but then she is irreplaceable.
Rest in peace our good friend and faithful servant
Bob Lake
Chairman RWFCA of RWELSH
Re: Death of Sue Reynolds
Well said Bob. Quite a few generations of Royal Welch Fusiliers will have had contact with Sue over the years. An irreplaceable part of the barracks landscape.
