Hi and thank you for the warm welcome. I am searching for information on Sgt. Owen Foulkes (Alan), who served in Cyprus and died in October 1966. Iwould be grateful to members for any information they can give me. I believe his service number could be 19030953. Thank you in advance.

I knew Alan but not very well I was only a Fus in 1966 and was in Cyprus with him My Father was the Med Sgt at the time and myself and one other escorted Alan's coffin to the mortuary from up country in the back of a box ambulance.
Hi Johnny, Thank you so much for your post. May I ask if you knew how he died at all? I was told it was natural causes, however this could be a multitude of things. Any information would be gratefully accepted. Thank you again.
All I can remember is that he was found in his bed one morning, sorry.
sgt alan foulkes was for a short while 12 platoon sgt D coy before transfering to the PRI when he died
A bit late but i knew a Sgt Foulks who was a Platoon Sgt in C coy Ist Btn R W F in Jamaica.The year was 1952.
He was a nice chap.I was later transferred to A coy,and i lost touch with him
