A chap at work gave me some papers (photos on the forum) relating to his dad.

he was born in 1913,enlisted Abergavenny 25/8/1937

im told he served in India prior to going to Northern Ireland.

interesting that he joined the RWFCA.

the chap Norman Francis,(ex rwf) branch sec went on to be mayor of newtonards.

Any other info any one has would be nice to pass on to this chap.
i have worked with this guy for 20 year on and off and only found out his dads
link to the RWF in the last month or so.small world eh.
