Impromptu Nights
You have to love those impromptu nights, the next door neighbours (Turkish and local kebab shop owner and his wife) decided at 22:10 that they wanted to have a couple of drinks and so knocked my front door, in they came and the Fosters started to flow, then the Apel Corn came out of the freezer, a bit of music (Motown), then he disappeared and came back with a 100cl (45%vol) Raki, oh my, mixed with a few (lol) more Fosters and Apel Corn (second bottle), add a bit of Turkish dancing and a few laughs and then at 04:18 they decide it is a bit LATE and decide to go home
The worst thing is i am up at 06:15 to get the youngest up for work (and i thought these days were long behind me)
and before you ask, i done the spell check (just in case i spelt anything wrong)
at 04:31 i wish you all a a good night

Re: Impromptu Nights
Hahahaha. Did your eldest lecture you about the evils of drink? Sounds like a great night and yes indeed, the best kind of fun.
Hope you aren't suffering the after affects for too long :winkicon:

Re: Impromptu Nights
Shar,
No, all is good this morning, i got him up and out on time, and no lecture, but i did get "the stare", but maybe that is because maybe like me he did not have enough sleep (the music and talking), so yes a few disapproving looks, but hey
Oh and no after affects (yet)

Re: Impromptu Nights
Lofty. I have got a hangover reading your post. Oh how I wish I could even contemplate such a feat but alas a session like that would see me in bed for a week.:notworthy:

Re: Impromptu Nights
Gwyn,
The funny thing is, the INR nurse said exactly the same thing to me this morning
Well the last of the washing up and clean down is done and i can hear the sun lounger screaming my name, so off to replenish my Vitamin D levels for a couple of hours
