That's pretty damned shocking!
I read your posts searching for Kim - I knew him for a short time, but fairly well within that time. I searched for him in Facebook; never thought of just Googling his name, or his name followed by 'Gloucester'
Here's one of many links that come up if you do that.

Tragic, very sad.
What (if you don't mind me asking) was your connection, Linda?
John,
This is very sad. I know Kim was known by lots of us on the Forum. Beggers belief really how this sad news was not herd of before.
RIP Kim.
Cowardly Gits.
RIP Kim, Good Buddy.
What a shock to hear about kim we were in the same plt 6 b coy like everyone how come it took this long for us to find out kim had died ?? R.i.p. Kim keith may
RIP Kim
Kim was a hell of a character, small only in stature. He had a great sense of humour and as we used to say (in humour) a poor choice in music. He was the only man who ever convinced me that he enjoyed listening to "Bobby Dylan". Reading some of the reports, they say he was still singing and pretending to play the drums when he arrived at hospital -ever the performer. I have tried to get in touch for some time and met Dawn some time ago only to find that they had divorced/separated. Terrible shame RIP Kim "Brothers in Arms " mate.
Sad to hear Kim has gone last spoke with him in 1997 in a Pub in Glocester over a pint with Derek Adams, he was doing something then with music, Singing and druming to the end, they were not going to shut him up, I hope the culperates went down for this ?
Sad and sickened at the news of Kims death, served for many years with Kim as PTIs in the Bn and the Depot. As Gwyn mentioned, small in stature, big in heart. I have just read a tribute about Kim, and it mentions a poem he wrote called 'Lifes to short to be tall', and quotes the last verse, here it is:
But, every day is a treasure,
So go and have a ball,
'Cos once you're gone, you're gone for good,
And life's too short to be tall.
Forever a lovable rogue, a friend and comrade, Rest in Peace mate.
