It was with sadness that I heard this morning of John's passing. He was a character and our Comrades Association (nationally) will miss his infectious personality.
Can I extend on behalf of the Aberystwyth Branch our sincere condolences to his family, friends and fellow comrades.
Sleep tight friend until we all meet again on that great parade ground above

Dear All,
Family and friends, together with the community of Meifod, gathered at the Parish Church at 1400hrs Mon 23 Nov 09, to accompany “John Pryce Williams” on his final journey. Pryce passed away on Thur 12 Nov 09, he was 76 years old. The Royal British Legion and “Royal Welch Fusiliers” Comrades was very much in evidence, many had travel from long distance. The Coffin was draped with the Standard of the Welshpool RWF Comrades Branch. Pryce had been the Branch Standard Bearer for many years, a duty that he very much enjoyed. I am instructed by Pryce family to express their sincere thank to everyone for the kindness and sympathy extended to them at this time of sorrow.
Glyn.
