a friend of mine is trying to gain information about his estranged family , he is looking for info on 3 people deatils as follows
1. christopher coffee collis he served 12 years in the 5th dragoon guards before moving to canada and joing the canadian militia and joining the expeditianry force in ww i he assumes he lived in winnipeg in canada.
2. stafford george wilson ex royal marine from surrey he thinks his number is x269 and maybe served on m.v.p. danube based in sheerness , he was born in 1909.
3.francis leslie wilson born in surrey he thinks and retired as a sergeant in the royal engineers .
any information anyone can supply or a clue as to where he would start looking is much appreciated , thank you
