Ladies/Gents
with the upcoming tour now upon us many of you will be thinking about the the Royal Welsh on the tour and may like to send morale boxes out to the guys and girls serving remember it must weight no more than 2kg and the postage is free, if you would like to send these out to us can you please pm me and i will give you an addres to send them to because you need to have a soldiers name and rank on the parcel. Remember we do have females serving amongst our ranks and they need morale to.

Well Done on your Thread, as you said morale is for the complete tour.

Operation Christmas Goodies Appeal was launched by the people of the Deeside/Flintshire area in conjunction with the local newspaper, large supermarkets, Post Offices and local schools with co-ordination of the Shotton and Deeside Branch RWFCA to show our and the local people their support and thoughts over the Festive period to our local brave lads and lasses.

I am sure that your morale boxes appeal will be an on going request and it does not clash or reflect in anyway with our Operation Christmas Goodies appeal that is currently up and running at this particular time, the response and support for the appeal is going from strength to strength and gaining momento, other councillors and and dignitaries are Enquiring about launching this appeal in other areas of Wales.(let us hope that it does)

Good Luck in your Quest

Best Regards
