DEAR MEMBERS,
ON NUMEROUS PUBLICATIONS ON THE FORUM PEOPLE ARE USING THE TERM
REGIMENT IN OUR TITLE,THIS IS NOT CORRECT AND SHOULD NOT BE USED.
OUR TITLE IS 1st BATTALION ROYAL WELSH (fusiliers),THE CO THE 1st btn HAS MADE THIS QUITE CLEAR TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE BATTALION.

1 R WELSH - 1st Battalion The Royal Welsh (The Royal Welch Fusiliers)

2 R WELSH - 2nd Battalion The Royal Welsh (The Royal Regiment of Wales)

3 R WELSH - 3rd Battalion The Royal Welsh

Does it really matter?? Regiments will be back in fashion at some point are we no longer 23rd Regiment of Foot in the batting order

Hi all the 1 bat royal welch ( Fusiliers ) is still british army regiment or has it changed again .

Oh my goodness how picky can you get?!! The Royal Welch always has been and always will be our Regiment! I for one wont stop using the term.
