This picture shows the 4th RWF Band at Pwhelli in 1927. Rear left is (poss army No 4078) John E Pritchard. Earlier to this picture, John served with 3 RWF between 1917-1919 at Limerick, and also with the 9th Bn, possibly in France during the same period. During this part of his service his Army No was 61543.
He is the Grandfather of Ian Pritchard. Ians other Grandfather was Albert Ross (1RWF), who fought in the All India Boxing Championships in 1924
