The finest cut of steak, mushrooms and onions washed down with a glass of Fleurie "Le Mont" 2005 tres bien. A pension increase that takes your breath away and being made redundant the day after. Now that is what I call a Birthday. Thank you lads, being 55 (not 58 Will) aint so bad you know?

Happy Birthday to Gwyn. and all forum members in the past year and the rest of the year. But my question is? do you have to be a super moderator or a modeyerator to hve a birthday mention on the forum, not that I'm a jealous person or like to thrive on recognition, but having been a long member of this forum, lots of us "minions" never get a mention about our birthdays (not that reaching the age 56 last Sunday 2nd Aug 09) has anything to "whinge" about, but a bit more respect. (are we not equal on this forum?)

Hi Ian thanks for your best wishes. I wondered why your birthday had not shown, so I checked the forum calender and found your date of birth empty. I then checked your user CP and your date of birth is not on there mate. That is why your name was not indicated. Anyway many Happy (belated) returns for the 2nd of August.

No Benny we are not equal! As Moderator's you must page homage to us and only our birthdays should be recognised. In fact we are currently toying with the idea that we will also have unoffical Birthdays on the forum, a bit like the queen.

Mate,please take this the way it was intended, I am of course just having a laugh. I think you gotta get the beers in at the Commrades weekend though, for not having your birthday marked down anywhere and then wondering why we havent wished you many happy returns!!! This is not adig, purely having a laugh!

That's another beer you owe me Gwyn. The weekend of 04,05,06 September should be an inexpensive affair with no beer to buy. It's also close enough to my birthday (03 October) for you to get me another beer whoopie! Of course I'll only be 42ish.
