Hello

I am researching David John Parry on behalf of his grand-daughter. Any information anyone has will be of great interest to me.

I know that David (Dai) Parry had an army number of 4208124 when he first joined up in I think 1922. From family photos he seems to have served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers from 1922 to 1934. He seems to have been to Quetta and Gibralter during that period. He served two years and left Gibralter on 17 Sept 1934 to attend an army training course in agriculture. He was called back in 1941 and seems to have served in the UK during WWII.

I am very interested to now more about where he went in 1922 to 1934 and also more about colour service.

Any personal information or regismental diaries would be wonderful.

I also know that during 1932 to 1934 Dai was the 'servant' of a Capt Burden - based in Gibralter in 1934 with a think the East Lancashire Regiment.

Thanks in advance

Ian
