Just like to thank everyone who has helped with this request .
Through another forum member I have managed to locate and speak to Gonzo which is something that I have not done for over 28 years .

Civpop gives you friends , some good , some great and some not so good . But it is only the regiment that gives you mates . Mates can pick up where they left off which was the case with Gonzo as he reminded me that I still owed him something . We just get a bit older during the down time .
So , if anyone can help with Monkey and Higgins , I will be at the bar during the comrades reunion , only for five minutes , so you had better be quick .

As a footnote , what is the form for the reunion ? This is how I see it ,
book your place , send your money , book hotel , put on suit , turn up , drink copious ammounts , talk and sing , go to bed , have fry up , come home .
Do I need a pass , if so what for ?
Anything different please advise .
Many thanks to everyone .

Dai, Normally on a friday night, the boys meet up in the bar of the Wynnstay Hotel in the town centre, from about 1900hrs(although some do start at the barracks). Most guys are in FFO(Full fighting Order), jeans, shirts disco and the obligatory white socks!!! Then its just a great night meeting all your old pals..

Saturday, most of the lads wear the regi tie, shirt, jeans, some wear trouser or suits, whatever you like, although the Tie seems to be everywhere, and then its just a very very long day...loads of sings songs, and a great time in the town centre and back at the barracks.

If your not a Comrades Branch Member you can either join the nearest branch, or join as an individual member, both can be done online through the forum, and in a couple of weeks you will recieve a Comrades membership card.

Adding on to Al,s info. you will need a Comrades photo I.D card to enter Hightown Baracks and if you are on the Sunday church parade the dress is "Regimental", collar, tie etc.
