Hello Trav,
On my web site I have several photo's of General Montgomeery, when he visited the 6th Battalion R.W.F. on the 6/7/1945 in Dusseldorf. Some of these photos clearly show the "Flash" being worn. I have seen some photos of the Paris Parade and I am sure the "Flash" was worn on this victory parade.Hope this helps. The photos are from the Healy collection and he gave me permission to display them.
Regards RBD

I agree with Don, I don't think the regiment would have missed the opportunity to "flash" The Flash

At the Museum on a monitor, there is a film clip of The 6th Bn RWF at the Victory Parade in Paris, I think the head dress is a bonnet RWF Badge no hackle and I think no Flash being worn.
