We have received an e-mail from a Caron Moss (e-mail below) - I have sent her an e-mail asking for a few photo's so that we can put them on the forum in the hope that a member might know someone in the photo's

"I have received an enquiry via the MOD public website from a gentlemen who received in error, a set of 26 photos, when AOL transferred their photo storage to PhotoWorks.

The only identifying information on the photos is the title on one of the pictures which states, 'S30B Al Amarah Iraq Apr 04-Oct 04', and the title of the whole album which is 'RWF Squaddies Iraq Album (26 photos)'.

I would really appreciate some help in tracing the rightful owner of the photos if at all possible. I have forwarded a copy of one of the photos showing a group of soldiers to a lady in the RWF RHQ in the rather vain hope that she may be able to recognize someone.

Would it be possible to place a message of some kind on your forum?"

Is this one boxed off yet Lofty. They are our guys...I know the guy in the centre...buggered if I can remember his name, I had a beer with him in the Nags after the Iraq parade.

Al, the Guy in the centre of the right hand photo is CSgt Martin Gregory who is currently in Sandhurst.

Guy on right wearing T shirt in top photo is Elgan Jones ex 3rd Bn who is now a Police officer in Wrexham/Rhos. He was attached to A Coy 1st Bn RWF on the tour of Iraq 2004. I will contact him and see if he knows any thing in relation to these photo's

No Al - hopefully now with one or two trying to trace those in the pic, we might be able to get the pic's back to their rightful owner

I have spoken with Elgan Jones in work today and he told me that quite a few of the lads in the platoon took and shared their photo's with each other. So they could belong to anyone in the platoon really but were definately not his.

Just to let you know - we have found the owner of the photo's and hopefully will be reunited shortly
