Just to let you all know that my Bro John Nye is in hospital having had his second new hip yesterday. He's doing well and should be up and 'running' very soon. I'm sure if anyone has five minutes he'd love to see you or hear from you. If you need or would like any other info please pm me.
Will keep you posted.

Thank you for all your kind wishes, I will pass them on and keep you all posted as to how he is.
He's in Oswestry at a hospital that has just slipped my mind. I will ring his wife Eunice and let you know.
Thanks again

Anita,
Please give your brother my regards, sorry I'm away next week but will try my dammdest to pop to see him on my return.
One of his favorite sayings used to be 'don't give me problems, give me results'
sure he'll be up and about real soon .

Thank you all for your kind words, he will be touched, I know.
He's up and walking with sticks today, huge progress. He is of course in charge of causing bedlam in the wards and of keeping everyone on their toes ~ no slacking allowed from anyone!!
He's in Clwyd ward of the Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt orthopeaedic Hospital if anyone can pop in. He should be there until the weekend but whose knows with him? He may well be marching home, though slowly tomorrow!!
Thanks again,
Anita xx

I haven't been on line for a while & missed this post, I would have nipped in to see him as the hosp is just down the road, hope it's going well.
My mum went in to the same hosp last night she's having her 4th hip replacement (no she hasn't got 4 legs) had trouble the 1st time around & now she's worn one out. (no not a leg)
