I hope that this will be useful information for all Forum members.
I recently had a review on my claim for benefits from the Army regarding my left knee, I had already claimed for my right knee and had received a cheque for £2000.
Well I have now been awarded a pension every month, starting in July. They took the lump sum they gave me as an advance.
They would not give me anything for my left knee but upted my disability to 20%. I then fell into the pension bracket.
So it is worth Forum and non Forum members keeping onto the MOD about a pension even though many years have gone by.
I have to have a double knee replacement, eventually!!
I left the Army in 1978!!!
