1. Just to make Forum Members aware during these hard times during the credit crunch there has been an increase of ex R Welsh members rejoining. There is a financial benifit to doing this and it ranges from £2000 to £8000 depending on your rank SCBC or equivlant qualifications and time served. So if any of you out there are missing the military way of life and the lads give Capt Frankie Taylor a ring on 01244 650744.

2. Also if you are a bit ally and have left the Army in the last six years there is also a system in place where you can join the Battalion on a 1 year contract which will enable you to go on OP Herrick 11 with the lads.

Which area will the rugby team be patrolling?, and I expect we will be able to get off patrols for training?

On a serious note, Ive discussed it with my daughter and she is not best pleased! Work, were'nt exactly accommodating either mate!

In addition to the information given by Scorch I command the Regimental support team and can be reached out of normal working day hours on 07790889035. I have transport available if required for any body who might have difficulty with getting about.
