Geoff Beddis

Hi all, I havn't seen anything on here as yet, so I thought I'd beeter post this. I have just been informed that an Old Mate of mine and former member of your Regt has passed away. His name was Geoff Beddis from Merthyr, he was in the Depot posted the same time as I was posted there. He was a Cpl for some of the time. I heard that he'd gone to the bathroom last Fri morning at around 0630hrs, and his wife found him at 0930hrs, Dead. Will 71 who was also a good mate of Geoffs has funeral details etc.

Will 71 was asking if anyone on this Site has any photos of Geoff in his Army Days as she hasn't any as they stayed with Geoffs late 1st wife. I hope someone can help her. Many thanks Braz

I knew Geoff when he was working on RP staff, and I found him to be a good mate and was always willing to help anyone, within reason.

My condolances to his family at this sad time.

I knew Geoff whilst in the Depot what a great bloke, I am sorry to hear of his passing, may I on behalf of Shrewsbury and District Branch RWFCA pass on our condolences to Geoff's family and friends. RIP.

So sorry to hear of Geoff's passing. I too knew him when he was at the Depot.
