Sorry to be a boring but I thought this worthy of a mention.I am celebrating two anniversaries this week. Today is my 37th wedding anniversary and tomorrow is the date I enlisted into the 1st Bn The South Wales Borderers, 19th Dec 1966. I am still serving, in both cases.

Colin,

Don't know if you remember me but you were one of my Cpl's in Aden Plt in Crickhowell in 73. Anyway, just wanted to say, "any anniversary is a bargin" LOL.

Paul

I remember your name very clearly, but in honesty I cant picture you. I just wonder if you were one of the chopys juniors who used to give the NCO's a bit of lip ? (LOL) Any photos of you on the site.

Regards and Merry Xmas

Colin

Colin,

There is certainly nothing wrong with your memory. Mind you whenever we did give the NCOs a bit of lip we usually ended up with a "fat lip". Good old days they were. Will try to dig out my photos of Aden Plt. Have a good one, LOL,

Well I could not have done the 42 years of Army service without the support and understanding from the Long Haired General.
