John Grimes

A while ago someone was asking if they new the whereabouts of John Grimes (Regt Band) 60/70's. Well, my wife was talking to him a few minutes ago and all is well with him and his family. He is a member of his local Legion and is the National Standard Bearer for Wales travelling all over for his duties. He is not into computers and does not do e-mails and the like. He said he is the worlds worst at keeping in touch so if anyone is interested in contacting him please pm me.

he's just retired from the buses. i believe living in llanelli i see him once a month with the works golf society next meeting not till march

Met up with John just last Friday 5th April 2019,down in Llanelli, Looking good for His age :winkicon:. Last met him way back in May 1972. Met John's friend (John ) on a coach trip in Devon 2018,what's the odd's on that. Gareth

Hi Martin. Last time i met you was at the Band reunion at the Wynnstay Arms in Ruabon a good few years back.It is a shame that they have finished. Times move on,I've known John since 1964 at Cwrt - Y -Gollen I joined the SWB and transfered to the RWF in 1969.I remember you.you may have to scratch you head to remember me Will 06 Clarinet.Wife Dawn. some names from the past, Oz Owen, Roy Sherston, Peter Goldsmith (Goldie ),Alan Taylor met him again at a Brass Band Competition again a few years back .when i was playing with in a Brass Band.
