Death of Mr Ken Walker

I've been informed today of the sad news of the death of Ken Walker who passed away last week.
Those of us who remember Ken, he was the adult RSM of the 4th Cadet Bn RWF back in the early 90's and also the RQMS/CAA. Ken was a very well liked chap who would help anyone if they were in need, a prominent figure in the community, He done many Armistice Parades as Parade Marshall and was also a stuanch member of the Shotton & Deeside Branch RWFCA, (although Ken was an ex Welsh Guardsman).

All our sympathy goes out to Ken's family at this sad time.

Ken's funeral will take place at Northop Church, Flintshire at 1430hrs on Friday 31st Oct 08.

I received the news of dear Ken, untimely death with much sadness and heavy heart. My thoughts are with his family and Friends at this time of sadness.
