The news clip is a good one. Thjis is something that our wives did when in Ballykinler (phot posted by Ray Edwards a few weeks ago).

Most of the comments from the punters were good, there were a couple that were unkind. People still dont get the picture that its the wives that look after the household when the husband is away - they act as the head of the house, the banker and on may occassions the judge and jury to unruely kids.

I will say good luck to all services wives and may the exercises they do continue.

One final note, I don't believe that camping (I do know it this is an extreme example) is not curently covered by H & S rules !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

His eyes rest on a young woman trying to melt into the background. "Why are you wearing make up?" he bellows.

"Well... I... er... don't see the point of letting yourself go, just because you're in the field... er ...sir," she replies.
