Can anyone help me trace My Grandfathers Military service within the RWF. (mothers side)We belive his rank was L/Cpl William Arthur Alexander Fergusson. Service number not known
He served with the Regitment until 1939. He remained and served with Hong Kong dock land Police Force. Was taken POW with by the Japinese on christmas day 1940, until the end of the war. He was also a founder member of the FEPOW (FAR EAST POW ASSOSCIATION).
If anyone can help we would be most grateful.

Hi Carl

You should be able to get his Service Record via the MOD.

Ideally you will need his service number, I have asked the question elsewhere and will let you know if I manage to get it for you.
