Anyone know of a decent B & B in Cardiff, near the city centre please? Hoping for a weekend away at the end of November.
Many thanks
Sheena

The ETAP is reasonable at around £35/night and that will sleep 3. They also cover a continental bk/fast for around £6, but prob better to go to Cafe.

Hi there,

Me and the Mrs, stayed in a Toby Carvery in Whitchurch, just b4 last Xmas, it was Brilliant, and inexpensive. Cn't quite remember the name, but I'm almost sure it was ther Masons Arms. When I phoned for a reservation, it puts u through to someone in Scotland, but don't worry, all there Bookings for Toby Carvery's go through there. The deal we got was 3 nights for the price of 2, B and B. We paid for evening Dinner which was Excellent and inexpensive. Major Mike Hooley from RHQ Cardiff told me about it, as he sends Officers who are looking for Accommodation there. Try them they are Brilliant. Also close to major Bus routes, and 5 to 10 mins Taxi ride into town. Good Luck. Braz

Hi Sheena I would agree with the comments about the Masons nice place in a nice area, quite close to my local the Fox and Hounds.

Sheena recomend the Marriot, about £190 for two sharing for two nights, breakfasts included and all the leasure facilities are free. Smack in the middle of all the entertainment aswell.

I think there must be something on because the prices are horrendous and lots of places have no rooms left for the Saturday night!

I used to use the blue dragon on newport road in cardiff , thats where most b and bs are.About 25 quid single or 40 odd double. The showers are a little pants, and it is very basic, does a breakfast. U have stains on the carpet, stag weekends etc in there. It was the cheapest but it depends what u want to put up with. I have also used premier travell inn, travelodge and innkeepers lodge, type in the net and they will show u where abouts. There are some bandb sites on the net that will give u a variety, also reviews.
