I'm not sure if you can help me but my grandad is a member of the comrades association and is a Normandy Veteran.
He has always wondered what happened to a friend of his during waritime who 'took fright' and never returned to the battalion. His name was Freddie Tomlinson - is it possible in any way to trace him by name alone??
