My uncle, Edward Brewer, Fusilier 4204990, 12bn RWF, was killed on Sat 12 April 1941, age 27, in Whitby, Yorkshire. He was a despatch rider and I am curious how he was killed. Any information would be appreciated.

you can get his medals card on the national arcives site but anything to do with the time of the second world war is hard to find out i am presuming it has not been released yet. i am sure somebody will put you strait on this matter.
