Captain Reginald Poole RWF (1943)

I have a request from my father Terence Hinge who worked with Reg Poole in The Western Welsh Omnibus Company in Cardiff from 1940-43.
My father (Terence Hinge) was called up into the Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry and subsequently into what was to become REME.
Capt Poole was commissioned into the RWF and my father lost touch with him. Can anybody shed any light on what happened to Capt Poole after 1943?

Forgot to say that my father was an apprentice to Reg Poole and my father considered him one of the best teachers of his trade he had ever known (fitter and turner).
