I was able to attend the Service of Thanksgiving for the life of Curley Cluer today at Howell's School Chapel, Denbigh.
It was a very moving service and very well attended, I counted at least 16 Royal Welchmen in attendance, I did not know that Curley was the head porter at the school for 18 years prior to moving to spain.
He was obviously held in high esteem by the school and there apppeared to be a large number of school staff at the service in addition of course a large number of family members.
The chapel was full and Curley had a good send off.
Regards,
Joe.
PS, The school choir were excellent.
