Death of Lt Col JBD Morgan
It is with sadness that we report the death of Lt Col John B. D. Morgan. He served in Burma in 1944-45 with 1 RWF, and then with 2 RWF in Japan and Malaya. He was a Life member of The Burma Star association.
Previously of Peak Cottage, Ashton Lane, Bishops Waltham, he died on 29th May 2008 in Frenchay Park Nursing Home, Bristol, where he was well looked after and made comfortable in his final days having battled with a long illness following a stroke on 24th December 2007.
The Funeral is to be held in The Blessed Mary Church, Upham, Bishops Waltham on 11th June 2008 at 13.00.hrs followed by a celebration of life. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to go to ‘Help for Heroes' sent via Funeral Director.
