My name is Malcolm stanford and i live in Omagh county Tyrone but was orginally from Sion Mills just outside Strabane.
when i was a kid one of your Bn were posted to Londonderry and there was a company located in sion mills.
I used do messages for the lads and spent most of my time at the camp, I met a a soldier called Joe brown of blyth northhumberland (72/74) and after the Bn left i kept in touch with him for several years and actually met him again in the 80s while he was stationed at Ballykelly.
I was just speaking to an ex member tyhe other day "Cas" who married a local girl from Sion mills and he has now returned to the village and is now resident and it just brought back some very good memories.
I was wondering if you know of Joe Brown and if so where he is now.
The last address i had for him all those years ago was 9 Albyan way Blyth (dont know if spelling is correct)
