How about a trip to the sea for a change, if you've read about the fictional maritime heroes of the last few years, how about reading the life story of "Thomas The Lord Cochrane" The 10th Earl of Dundonald . He was given the nickname 'Loup de Mer' (sea wolf) by a Frenchman, Napoleon Buonoparte no less So he must have been some good !! Written by Donald Thomas it covers Cochrane's life from his early days as a midshipman through his fighting career to his death at the age of 85. Available on Amazon.co.uk Regards Alex
