Can't find the Military History tab.

Anyway there's a very interesting article in the Shropshire Magazine about Charlie being captured and sent to Auschwitz.

Just type in Shropshire Magazine and you'll see Charlie in a superb colour front page picture.

Somebody please put the link on the forum, my IT skills don't stretch that far.

There was a feature in the BRITAIN AT WAR monthly magazine about POW s who were sent to Auschwitz which mentioned Charlie Evans in a book about it will have to dig the magazine out

The book is "SPECTATOR IN HELL"A British Soldiers Story of Imprisonment in Auschwitz, by COLIN RUSHDEN and Published by Summersdale sorry no ISBN it is not about Charlie Evans but a group of British POWs
