Just a quick heads up for all those who stayed in the Novotel Cardiff last weekend.
On checking my bank account this morning I found that the Cardiff Novotel had taken their money out no problem I thought, however the Novotel in Leeds decided they would debit my account the same amount.
On checking with the Leeds hotel their records show I was there as well as in Cardiff. Having explained they have made a mistake they have refunded my money with no drama.
I don't think there was anything dodgy involved, just seemed to have been caught up in the Novotel cyber space.
Anyway enough waffle just check your accounts if you paid by debit / credit card.
