Just to let you know that 2 Royal Welsh retain the Army Cup today with a score of 17 points to 10. Congratulations to all.
I heard they were 10 - 3 down in the 1st half, but came out for the 2nd with all Guns Blazing to win 17 - 10. Well done lads.:winker:
Well done to them. Am I correct it saying its now "All hands to the pumps" and both Bn's provide players. Is that correct?

I believe you are spot on Al as one of the 2nd Bn players works for me in the Merthyr recruiting office and he would not be recognised by many in the 2nd ?
But hey why not, the Corps have been packing for decades 7 RHA 7 Sigs 2 Sigs and if you took the Fijians away from some of the teams they would struggle to beat the Wives club. Come to think of it I would not fancy tackling some of our wives, no offence girls. When the 1st Bn arrive at the Dale the roles will no doubt be reversed.
It is great to win again.

great win, anybody tell me who they played
23 Pnr (fijian) Regiment RLC
Yes Great result and it is true the corps have been packing thier units for various sporting events for years, The Fijian fever has effetct most Bn,s I watched 2 Royal Ang play the Scarlets in Chepstow, when they came out you should of seen the look on G J they lost but its so common in battalions Fiji must be empty?

i can remember back in the distance days of lemgo when we played 21 engineer regiment in a home match and beat them comfortably, then hey oh we were drawn in the semi finals of the baor rugby cup and it was nearly a completely different team, and talking to their tight head prop who was my opponent that day he had only been in the baor for a week and wouldnt stay much longer after the final.
Remember it well Will, played them after beating the current champions 3 BAD 4 days before. I can still taste the port .
