God Last time I saw him was Warminster he was OC the Sec Cmd Cadre what a nutter, not quite the normal type of Officer made Capt but had his how could we say special ways, I remember him wearing a Red & White boble hat in uniform on the Cadre

Hi Barry remember him joining us in Ireland in 81, He turned up at Fort Whiterock and was introduced to the OC (Charlie Fenton in Disguise) we all had a cracking laugh after. Good officer though,? The last I heard he went to The pay corp, dont know if thats right though?

I believe that Capt Raikes transferred to the RAPC (AGC) and if I remember correctly got to dizzy heights of LT Colonel.
