View Full Version : Saturday Dilema
I cant choose who I want to win between France and England tomorrow. Loyalty drives me shout for England rendering France in second slot assuming Wales has a victory over Italy, or do I shout for France against a crippled enemy. If England lose though, I'm afraid it's another shirt for Pooley.

Dai, Been thinking about this one myself. I think it will be better for Wales if England beat France, then if we slip up against Ireland, we will still be in a position to win the championship by beating France in the final game.

tactically it has to be england but im afraid i cant bring myself to cheer them, and anyway imagine the stick we can give pooley at the end of all this if england get the spoon , oh joy all my xmas's at once
Well I have the pressure of the wife and friends, and the thought of a final game in Cardiff against Les Bleu so do I side with the Fre... no maybe not a draw 17 all and half a shirt for Al that will do nicely

Dai ,Ive had my face rubbed in it for years down here in Devon, it is great to see the misery instead of the arrogance on their faces. Shout for the French mate and let our boys sort out Les Bleus, as and when they meet.
They seem to be giving you a bit of stick here Al. You should at least make a fight of it. I'll back you up if you like.

Rita, stop using Dilwyns computer when he is out of the room. He would never support the "old enemy" not even in jest......WOULD HE?????

Cheers Dilwyn !!!! Thats very English of you. :spinny:
I don't feel the need to bite back, after living with and amongst all you for over 30yrs, I can write the script. You'll win a couple of matches, a quick burst of "Dai Bach A Soldier", and then of course the inevitable run of crushing defeats. No, i don't feel the need to bite.
I look forward to Wales winning the World Cup...............someday :twitcy:

My worst nightmare I went to make Scouse a brew (whilst he's on duty) and suddenly realised I left him alone with the computer on. When asked what are you doing? nothing I'm just looking was his reply.
I have now reported him under the data protection act to the Chief Constable.

Schoolboy error Sid!
C`mon les froggies!!!
Al you can not dwell on History "World Cup" winning it cant be all that special, otherwise having made the final this year and returned home still finding it difficult in the 6 nations does not reflect well does it? And the team that won it, sacked their coach, well never kept him on anyway!
So I would not bleat on regards that old competition, we play for today Al and as such make the rope long and strong, not weak and meek like the England Six Nations Challenge!
Alle Les Bleu
Al.
I'm with you on this one spent many a games in the Naafi watching the games a couple of times the shirt ripped of my back and burnt in front of me, but always used the money i had won on bets to buy another... Can't understand why anyone would support the Frogs unless their French.. every 20 years strange things happen so maybe this is your years boys, you have been waiting a while.. and good luck.:notworthy:
Kev....

At last sanity prevails. :winker:
Hi all,
I started this thread not realising the dislike towards the England team and thier supporters. Pooley has been a mate and comrade for a long time so I would ask you all to leave my mate alone.
At least until after they have lost, then hammer him.

The hints in the competition title "World Cup". As I said previously, I can read the script. Your argument is listed on page 2, under " The World Cup - Not Bothered....much"
Anyway enjoy your run of wins. I'm in for the long haul.
