Ok i hold my hands up quilty as charged, but thought my old mucker scouse 75 would have turned a blind eye to my little miss hap,not like him to turn down a couple of free pints, but should have known that he would have stitched me up with the PM i sent him.NICE ONE MATEY
Should have added a kebab, Sid would have a "wittnes" to your inocence.

Excellent thread!
This is what forums is 4.
Perhaps Bear, if you had tried a rehash of yours and Scouse's favourite Berlin excuse. Something along the lines of:
"Scouse, I only parked there because they've been slagging the regiment off"

Exactly Al, How could I of then refused!!? like I told Bear, He should of sent a PM to Sid 'Larrys brother' Burns.
For the offer of free beer, Sid would have got the ticket rescinded, got Bear compensation for the stress incurred, had his car waxed and polished by a Community Support Officer and motioned a local bye-law for Bear to park anywhere he wanted in Wrexham!!

Cheers Scouce, brother of Johnny Vegas, I'm surprised you haven't mentioned when I got a ticket in the Wynnsay car park Wrexham. It wasn't the fact that I got a ticket for illegal parking (don't do the crime if you can't do the time) what p****d me off more was the fact that I drove into the car park wall whilst reading it, gutted!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got a ticket in Llan when home on leave from N.Ireland. I sent a grovelling letter explaining that due to being away on an Operational(Rugby)Tour, that I was unaware of the new parking meters in the town.
I was thanked wholeheartedly for my 'light swinging' 'sandbag Pulling up' story and asked whether I would be sending a cheque or paying by card!!!
I think Sein Fein were running Denbighshire/Wrexham council at the time!!!

Bear,
You are not on your on mate, truth be known we've all tried a bribe here and there.
But its always ended up "March the Guilty B-----d in RSM"
A very comical thread had me in stictches, it still proves that once "Maroon and Blue, always Maroon and Blue"

Very true Bear, but if I remember correctly, You usually marched out to the tune of.."Case admonished 73, and tell you're Dad Im asking for him!" Where as I....
"And as for you 75, I dont believe for one minute that the Berlin Politzi were slagging off the Regiment were they? You cant use that one this time. 200 Duetsche Marks, march him out!!"
This morning Sgt Jones 73 was visited by Constable Hughes who issued words of advice.
Constable Hughes explained in detail, the bye-law regarding unlawful parking within Wrexham Town Centre, and went on to give a comprehensive overview regarding the law in respect of "Attempting to Pervert the Course of Justice". Sgt Jones paid particular interest to Constable Hughe's vivid descriptions of prison life, and what happens to fit young men at "Showertime" and "Lights Out".
Pictured below:
Sgt Jones 73 thanks PC Hughes for his kind assistance

Bri,
Tut Tut. Surely you dont want me to tell them all that you are known as the 'Brew bitch' of Wrexham Custody! For your info, Bri has had more days off this year than Clint Eastwoods safety catch!!

Everyone seems to be taking this thread very lightly when the situation is in fact quite serious!
How am I going to keep my beer fridge full if everyone in Wrexham gets to hear that police officers are no longer taking bribes?
Scouse i`m disappointed in you, Bear who issued the ticket, it might still be in their tray!!!:winker:
i thought there was only one dodgie copper in the RWF
Just caught up on all the Bear stuff and parking ticket, Tony you should of gone to the Inspector, the lads have probably got him in there pocket.
PS Howie I know where to come M8.
