Drugs misuses

Why is it ok for our children to see in the press, the likes of super models, singers and actors misusing drugs and then not being dropped by their labels, contracts and agencies. What sort of message is this giving our youngsters of today.

Rik its a case of money! if it can be made no matter what issues there are negative or positive it will be made!

And the papers again print what sells the paper, not what sounds nice and ethical, If an item is said to be bad or dangerous some kids will try it some to their peril, we as parents can but advise and live in hope!

Ms Winehouse is a Star misguided but she has bags of talent and will make money as will them that promote her, and again she sells papers.

It will not change mate, although annoying it mat be!

Drugs have been in Rock music for years , its only the real rock stars that don't use it as publicity , as lemmy once said , Real Rock stars know what they do and carry on doin it , Pretenders complain and go to rehab . The so called new breed of rock star would not last 5 minutes with Keith Richards , Keith moon , Ozzy , lemmy ETC .
Being a rock star is probably the best job in the world But when the press write more abount your drug use than your Cds , maybe its time to call it a day.

Drugs like Alcahol is a freedom of choice , You can Say No .
