I am celebrating two anniversaries this week. Yesterday I celebrated my wedding anniversary 36 years of wedded bliss (Too scared to say anything else) and today I celebrate 41 years service having enlisted into the South Wales Borderers 19th Dec 1966 and then RRW from 1969 now Royal Welsh and still serving. Apologies if I am boring you all.

Many congratulations Colin. 1966???????? Now that was a long time ago. Harold Wilson was Prime Minister, the Beatles were still together and your Depot intructors would have been veterans of Korea/Malaya....with possibly a couple of WW2 guys thrown in for good measure

Very well done Colin, you are an example to us all.
Bye the way, you don't get 36 years for murder these days. LOL

Well done Colin a fine example to all. I bet you've seen some changes in all those years. Personal weapons changing from a spear to the SA80, the personnel carrior was a chariot, artillary was a catapult and uniforms were usually shiny armour...............I could go on...lol
