Hi 20,

From the top of my head, the following are Forum Members, check the Members List on the Top bar:

Ianto 10

Al Perry

Cornish(there are a couple, however your man joined in the last 6 months).

I think there is also a Morgan 89 on the site

For Gwylim, PM Forum Member Don Butts. Don is related to all the 1st Bn Gwylims from that period, and in touch with them, including your lad.

Terry Pope is contactable via Forum Member Paul Davies 01 through the Red Dragon Old Boys

Good Luck

Was the OC 8 pl 2Lt Peter Everson INT CORPS? If so he's a Major General now, and GOC 4 Division in Aldershot. You trained him well! I'm sure he'd like to hear from you.

"Jimmy" Hawkins
He's living in the Pontypridd/Rhondda area now, I have his phone number and am willing to pass on any message/contact numbers you want via a PM to me, also Al perry is still about in the same area as Jimmy.
I hope you find all the boys, they were a good bunch in Lemgo down in the rattle.
Have a word with Chow he's trying to arrange a get together of the same aged lad as this he may have some contacts.

Keith I ,ll think you find that williams 54 was platoon Sgt of 7 platoon because Evans 10 was 8 Platoon Sgt from its formation to its end when they disbanded C company

yes thats correct,it was Bob,s post that threw me as peter everson was 7plt commander not 8 plt

Definately Jimmy Hawkins and it was Sam Cornish that your thinking of. Hey 20 just found out I'm going to this years reunion in Wrexham, I hope you can make it. I spoke to Jinx 38 the other day and he's going to try as well.

Hi All
Is Cornish's first name Sam and was Jimmy and Al friends of Colin Phillips who played full back for the Bn?
If so and you do have any details I would love to chat to them also.
