hey people, just a querie.i have been looking through the members list and to be honest, there are a lot of members who i dont know weather they were in the reg or not,it would be nice to know if a member of the forum was an ex/serving member of the rwf,if not why not put in the profile..IE..ex rwf/serving rwf..relative was/is rwf.or just looking/researching..:Hmmm:

Al Poole and I tried, two years ago, to get forum members to fill in their profile so that we would have some idea of who they are and when they served. Some did but MANY still have not. Shame really but we can't force them!

I wouldn't worry too much - there is a 'core' of regular contributors who have either filled in the profille fullly or you just know them anyway.

My wife is registered - she's just an arcade junkie - many others will be registered because they only have limited access unregistered - curiosity.

If you want to know more about a poster - ask - in the open here or by Private Message.

Make sure the file size is under 100kb, upload each picture one at a time. Should be ok then.

In my 'local'paper tonight there was a mention of a Leeds Veteran, regiment unlknown, lobbying all 650 British MP's regarding a services pension for members who left the forces,no matter what length of service, prior to 1975.
Apparently he has delivered a DVD called 'The Campaign' to all the MP's with the backing of a Leeds MP,and launched by (AFPG) The Armed Forces Pensions Group.
The reckoning is:~
Pension credits to be back-dated ??
Time served(Whatever) to be recognised.

Lets hope something comes out of this, I could do with a new car.

Has any member heard, taken part in any of the above. Its the first I have heard of it.
