I have just had an email from Bills wife Dorothy informing me that Bill passed away last night unexpectedly. He had been unwell and in hospital for a number of weeks but was back home and expecting to make a full recovery, so it has been very much a shock for all.

Bill was a researcher friend of mine and will be sorely missed. Whilst he never served in the Regiment he had a healthy interest in the history and its achievements.

I believe he was a honorary member of one of the RWF Associations in the South of Wales, and attended many St David's Day celebrations with them, so am passing on this sad news for those who may have known him.
