The Sheriff

On Saturday my Nephew is marrying Glyn Hughes's niece he was my first CSM when I joined DELTAS in 75.
I know people will be asking questions so I'm looking for some answers,

1.. Why "The Sheriff""

2.. I Know when he left the Bn he did some cracking work with the Cadets.. is he still serving if so at what rank? or what rank was he when he left?

Dunno - but I never shot him - or his deputy.

I may be wrong but I think he is self-christened "I'm the sheriff around here" sort of thing.

See him each year at the LOFs reunion but buggered if I can remember what he is actually doing, but heavily 'involved' whatever it is.

I have a niece named 'Denise' her brother is caled 'DeNephew'

Richie congratulations to your daughter and Luke (Glyn's son).
Can't answer the "sheriff" question, but Glyn has now retired as a Major and is heavily involved with the Volunteer Custodians at the RWF Regimental Musuem in Caernarfon, however he still resides in the Wrexham area. A Gentleman and a true Royal Welch Fusilier if ever there was one. Hope the wedding goes well
